The JS8F is a non-retractable bollard that can be temporarily removed to permit short-term access to a secured area. Designed and manufactured by FAAC, this bollard is built to control traffic in residential and commercial areas. This bollard is "Shallow Mounted, " designed to secure the bollard with a minimum required hole depth. The JS models are made from high-strength steel, treated with a cataphoresis coating and an interchangeable protective cover. It is able to withstand an impact from a vehicle driving up to 49 mph (80km/h). The JS80 cover is the mDure long-lasting, recyclable protective sleeve, which allows the bollard to be reconditioned, avoiding disassembly and reassembly costs.
All main components are accessible from above for maintenance, inspection, and replacement work, all done without having to remove the bollard from the ground. All JS series bollards use Rislan anti-corrosive polyamide resin that guarantees protection from the weather, corrosion, and chemical agents. Also, the JS series bollards are 3.3 ft. in height and 10.8 in. in diameter, which meets FAAC safety measures but makes them aesthetically pleasing and suitable for every architectural context.
